Scientific Posters

Attendees of xMAP Connect have the opportunity to present a multiplexing poster and may be eligible for a $500 travel grant! *

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

Abstract text should include all the items listed below and is limited to 3,000 characters (approximately 500 words) not including spaces:

  • A title
  • The author(s) and institution(s) involved in your proposed article
  • An introductory sentence indicating the purposes of the study
  • A brief description of pertinent experimental procedures
  • Which xMAP® product(s) are used in your method
  • A summary of the new, unpublished data
  • A statement of the conclusions
  • A statement as to how xMAP Technology has enabled your research

Meet the Experts

In addition to scientific sessions and networking opportunities, the event will also feature “office hours” with Luminex Senior Field Applications Scientists.

Office hours are free one-hour sessions designed to answer your questions about optimizing a multiplexing kit or developing a custom assay. Stephen Angeloni, Ph.D., and Valerie Stone, MS, Luminex Senior Field Applications Scientists, have assisted more than 1,000 xMAP customers with assay development and optimization.

Hotel Accommodations

Hotel booking is now open for all xMAP Connect 2018 attendees. You will be directed to The Westin Boston Waterfront hotel’s home page with the code already entered in the appropriate field. Simply enter your arrival and departure dates to begin the reservation process.

Please note that if you try to reserve a room outside the block of September 17–19, you will be told that the group rate is not available for the duration of your stay. To reserve rooms outside of the xMAP Connect event, which might not be at the group rate and is based on availability, call The Westin Boston Waterfront directly at 1-617-532-4600 and reference the Luminex Corporation room block.
